Steadfast Love

“God’s love never runs out; it renews every morning.”

There are days when life feels heavy, when yesterday’s worries try to follow us into today. In those moments, scripture gently reminds us that we are not sustained by our own strength, but by the unwavering love of God. Lamentations 3:22-23 declares, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed… great is your faithfulness.” This truth assures us that no matter what we faced yesterday, today begins with fresh mercy.

God’s love is steadfast. It does not fade with our failures or weaken with our doubts. His faithfulness remains constant, meeting us at the start of each new day with compassion and grace. Every sunrise is a reminder that His mercy has already gone before us, carrying new hope and renewed strength.

Each new day is evidence of His mercy, offering us the opportunity to begin again. When we wake up weary or uncertain, we can trust that God’s love is already present – ready to restore what feels broken and strengthen what feels weak. His faithfulness sustains us through seasons of joy and seasons of struggle alike.

As we learn to lean into this truth, we discover that God’s love is not something we have to earn or chase. It is given freely, renewed daily, and sufficient for whatever the day may hold. His steadfast love anchors us, reminding us that we are never alone and never without hope.

A Personal Prayer: Faithful God, thank You for Your steadfast love that never runs out. Thank You for mercies that are new every morning and for the hope You place in my heart each day.
