Pastor Louis Rosenthal was called by God to preach the Gospel in December 2004. He was licensed to minister and preach February 12, 2006 at Westside Baptist Church in Lewisville, TX. He is an ordained minister, full-time
pastor, committed husband, and devoted father. Possessing a commitment to education he has pursued and earned a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Pre-Law (legal studies) and after his calling to preach and teach the Gospel, he has earned a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has plans to pursue his Ph. D. in Leadership Studies at Dallas Baptist University starting in August of 2018.

Pastor Louis Rosenthal was born in Alexandria, Louisiana and is married to Rosalind, his best friend and soul mate since June 18, 1988. They have two beautiful daughters who are active in youth ministry. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of The McKinney First Baptist Church (since December 31, 2011) and he serves as the Moderator for the Collin Baptist Association.
Pastor Rosenthal’s preaching is always text driven for he desires to lead a “berean” type of church. He is passionate about proclaiming the Good News of Jesus the Christ, making the Word of God relevant in the lives of believers, teaching the importance of corporate prayer, and building the Kingdom of God in the congregation and community. His passionate and expository sermons and Bible Study lessons can be listened to and viewed online. His hobbies include reading, traveling, fishing, and watching the New Orleans Saints.
